There are 10 More Days Until Crysis 2 is released. Are you Ready?

Has anyone pre-ordered Crysis 2? Are you excited for it? I haven't pre-ordered it. I'd like to see some footage from the PC version of the game before I decide to make a purchase. Based on the multiplayer demo, I don't think it'll compare to the previous Crysis games. The visuals look severely toned down and the mechanincs feel very stiff, as if they're made for the limited control offered by console gamepads. Anyhow, what are your thoughts?

I pre-ordered it but I doubt I'll play it this month or the next, I can't even play last stand on Retribution and I love last stand, I barely touched WoW since I activated another 60 days (just 6 hours in the last almost 6 days...@_@ close to 666), because TDU 2 eats all my gaming time.

my enthusiasm for the game has gone from sky high to non-existent in the last month after the leaked beta and mp demo.

i think ill pass or at least wait for the user reviews before i even consider a purchase

Maby i'm going to buy it, but that will be in about 6 months or longer, when the game has fallen in price.

I never was pretty excited for this title because of the "mainstream" approach.

I just like my games complex, difficult as hell and original. I think crysis 2 lacks in these area's.

Probably not, there was nothing great from the demo, I'd expect it'd be like this in the final product to. I'll see what the feedback is like when the game releases.

The demo made me rage like nothing ever has. I think I'll stick with Homefront.

Am I ready? Yes, I preordered it a long long time ago. Am I excited? not all that much, since I preordered alot of information has come out, almost all of it has been bad news, and it appears that the SP game (which were the sole reason for me to play a Crysis game) is short and uninspired. I hope it is better then I fear, but right now I fear a CoD Clone in a sci fi setting... and I never really liked CoD...

I've been ready for months, man. Just give me the damn game already! At least let me preload it on steam lol

Probably won't get it. They seem to have pretty much ruined everything I liked about the first game.

I wasn't aware that this game's release was a big pc gaming event.

I'll wait till the release so I can get some info on the PC version. Latest news is that there will be no moddable servers, only standart stuff.

I'm in no hurry to play this. No DX11 at launch, mediocre multiplayer beta, and I don't ever buy games at full price (especially PC games at $60). I can only see myself getting this for the SP and the sandbox editor.

Won't even buy it. I remember trying the first one at a friends house. The game didn't really interest me except the graphics. The game has better graphics than most, other than that it just seems like your typical alien shooter.

I've got it preordered and can't wait!

I know many are pissed about the graphics, but imo that is the least of the problems. The only thing that pisses me off about the graphics is the lack of settings, hopefully the final game will fix this.

Depends. Has anyone heard about the single-player? If it's a step down from the original, then I'm just going to wait until it drops down in price.

I cancelld my preorder after playing the Demo and realising how noobed up and consolized it was. I was very hyped for Crysis 2 because of Crysis 1 and i felt very let down by Crytek. Now i think ill wait for the retail game to be released and see how it is or at least some mods that fix it.

Ill wait for others to buy it & try it out, if i deem the first impressions to be good ill buy it.
