Some countries only pay 25 cents per gallon of gas too. I don't see Big Oil coming to our rescue.

Personally, I hope little 6 year old third-world children are building pc components so that we can get them cheaper. With all that on-the-job training they could probably grow up to go to ITT or even MIT. We're supporting the children of the future and that's the American way.

And we wonder why the world hates us :| . Funny thing is many Americans hate france because they sometime display the same arrogance.

You will be happy to know that a lot of countries also pay a lot more for gas than we do. Some countries pay around $12/gallon and have 50% tax and pay extra for PC upgrades. Although this has nothing to do with your situation which you happened to stumble upon by pure chance (if you were born here), I dont think rubbing it into the face of other people is a very nice thing to do. And saying that you dont care if other children are used as slave labor is pretty 5tupid as well.

So long as these people support their socialist governments, they get exactly what they deserve. High prices, crushing taxes, and stil there's social unrest. Maybe it's a coincidence?

You do know that sweden has generally has a socialist government and they're one of the richest countries in the world?(GDP per capita, unemployment, etc.) Hell, even canada's economic system is somewhat socialist as well. There is generally nothing wrong with socialism as long as it's not a pure socialist economy.(Then again there's no such thing as a pure socialist, communist, or capitalist economy anyway and they would all be bad anyway)

I think you're mistaking socialism for communism.

Way off topic but you guys do realize that almost everyone is arrogant, it's just that most people have enough brain power to keep it internalized and not betray their feelings on a forum. As for the socialist argument, i can see that you're coming from the right wing propaganda bill o'reilly crowd and hence it's foolish to even try to have a coherent argument with you.

But i must say, while i generally do not like socialism due to its many facets that are contrary to human nature, you do realize that a pure capitalist system is doomed from its very inception. As an example. think about the robber barons of the late 19th and early 20th century and examine the living conditions of the common man during that time and you'll realize what pure capitalism gets you.

Defending th world from your mattress of solitude... most likely from the depths of your parent's basement. Chill out! Dude, if you can't take what I said about that slave labor as the joke it was then you are just itching to find someone to argue with. You are trolling.

You are actually the reason the world hates America... because you feel the need to stick your nose in other people's business and defend everyone. Keep on topic and quit looking for a reason to bust out your cape.

Yeah, shame on MS for trying to make some money and function like any other corporation in the world. Where do they get off?!?

And how can you understand and expect new advances, but still expect to be able to use a 6 year old OS? Looks like somebody left their common sense at the door when they came in here, huh?

monco59

It isn't a lack of common sense , It is perfect sense to understand that not everyone has the money to pay £200 for a card and £200 for Vista.

Why are you such a toadie to the corporate company line. You seem to believe anything your told.

Please don't belittle yourself by saying that MS don't abuse their market share. This is plain wrong.

I think that Vista like XP will take at least 18 months before it's anywhere like working properly so your comment about 6 yr old OS is a little premature at best.

Intimating that XP doesn't do the job since it's 6 yrs old if frankly incorrect and pointless

If you can't grasp these simple idea than I suggest you insult less ans think more.
