Glitches.

The fact that you can't rent PC games. I hate spending a ton of money for a game that i'll be done with in 20 hours or less. My PC game collection would be much smaller if that was possible, but considering the money I'd save, it'd be worth it.

The fact that you can't sell PC games. Buy an awful game and you're pretty much screwed.

Spending more than half an hour messing with graphics settings. When you don't have the latest gear, it gets real troublesome.

Crashes.

I don't mind the PC elitists too much. I just don't understand why they freak out about having 80 fps instead of 100 fps; as if you can actually tell the difference.

Games that are just boring and uninspired. Turn a corner, stab someone. Turn another corner, shoot someone. This is 2008, You would think they would add some interesting decorations, instead of bland, solid walls.

I can take games that don't resolve their plots, unless if the plot was a big part of the game. I hate when games just end without a suitable ending if there were cut scenes throughout.

I absolutely hate all F2P games. First of all, they're all rip-offs of other games. Take Warrock for example, and Combat Arms. You couldn't pay me to install that, firstly with the idea that I don't trust their programs in the first place not to make my Video Card explode or something like that. lol

In games using the Q3 engine there's a massive difference in gameplay according to FPS. Having 333 constant makes you jump higher and walk with less noise.

Sudden errors that aren't there the next time you reach the same point in the game.

stupid guns and a stupid cover system that the only thing it does is NOT used to avoid being shoted, also ai that doesnt miss and no story (geras of war)

games that supose to be open endend and give freedom but the areas are so small and limited like a game( stalker fable crysis)

unreallistic ai that maybe is challengefull but that is because of auto aim and not ery velivable predictable that causes a lot of damage and never misses or even now where you are and taking alot of hits without reaction to the inuries (gears of war crysis)

fake ballistics( no blood no bullet penatrion no ai reacting to injuries (crysis, sorry cant remember another)

enemies that shaking like bots on godlike and give you hard tiem to hit them ( jedi knight 2 jedi outcast, and a little bit crysis )

games that supose to have nice enviroments but as small limited and rely on graphics( gears of war crysis fable stalker)

unfair difficulty either to accurate grenades or enemies that disable shield with one shot or take 2 or mosre sniper shots to the head (stalker crysis)

bosses that requiere to kill them in a specific way and not shoot them till they die

rpgs with small worldmap

bad endings

no autosave that you can load from amin menu but you have to save to be saved ! (the suffering)

glitches broken ai (crysis stalker)

undying enemies (sof 3 cod 3)

drm securom and install limits, jeez i you get less trouble by using a pirated version than buying the original (ea games)

broken savegames or giving your money for a game that cant even be completed due to problems that walkthroughs say use cheats to get past taht point (gothic boiling point)

spending ages for a short game (stalker devil may cry 4)

ea games

high requirements for bad graphics (kane and lynch dead men)

microsoft xbox games

FINNALY SILENT HILL 1 EXISTS FOR PC EMULATED IN EPSX BY USERS WITH ITS OWN MENU GRAPHICS CONTROLS AND QUICKSAVE LOAD OPTIONS, WORKS ON VISTA AND DUAL CORE QUAD CORE SYSTEMS WITH LATEST VIDEOCARDS THE PROOF THAT THE CAN DO ANYTHING IF THEY PUT SOME EFFORT IN IT AND NOT TRYING TO STEAL OUR MONEY!

[QUOTE="Orcishman05"]Mulitiplayer games that are meant for adults, and a bunch of little kids are playing.Lach0121

agreed, though if the kids are cool and dont flood the coms channels or talk period and just play the game, then me and the kids are cool, but most of the time, they like to open their mouths, bla bla bla this, bla bla bla that..

im cool :D

I hate:

Ea

Hackers/cheaters

Vista only games

Overrated games

Biased game reviews

Today's fairly large system requirements my computer can't handle

What I dont like about PC gaming is the complexity. There is enough of people who come along these forums asking if their computer could run "X" game. There is millions of xbox 360, every single one is the exact same hardware, so there is no need to for the novice user to know whats inside of it. The only thing novice people know is it runs their games.

The gaming pc have so many varity and ages of hardware. I would like to see a number for people to look at right on the box to understand if their pc can run it. Vista already have a number system from 1-6, but if it was modified to 1-10 and 5 being the average system. Someone using this scale would then see if their computer system is above average or below average with a number. They see Crysis and its a number 7 but their computer is a number 5, they would know their computer does not meet the requirements. The scale on Vista or on a website for people who dont have vista is modified every six months to meet changes in the general community. This is just an example of something could be done to make PC gaming more simple for novice users.

poorly optimized games

game errors

dull story

oh Fat_Shodan you missed one :P (look down)

I REALLY hate Unlockables and don't get me wrong some are good but when a game shovels you with achivements JUST to do good really pisses me off (BF2, CoD4, TF2 *a little*, and some others) it's getting really annoying....

To expand on what somebody said before above, I hate when companies and people that buy the game are "proud" of a game's system requirements, but when you go to run it, the game has atrocious graphics, jagged objects even on anti-aliasing, and pathetic netcode that makes you lag like hell. They probably could make a 6000 series Nvidia card run on half of these games. I found this to be true in the Frontlines demo. BF2-like graphics, horrible netcode. Didn't even bother playing, even though I was well above the system requirements, simply because I was lagging everywhere and the netcode was terrible.

Horrible squadmate / partner AI, where they walk into walls, jump off of cliffs, etc.

Also, games where you can lose from something that is out of your control, like a good AI in some area ahead getting killed by an enemy that glitches in that area and kills it.
