How do graphics cards affect the CPU? Well, I'm not sure about other people's computers, but getting one stopped my computer from crashing all the time...:D
Both that Celeron and video card are atrocious. You might as well save your money and build a whole new computer later on. Dells blow.

Didn't I say that I would stay well within your budget?
if you have a such tight budget you are better of reusing the HD, dvd drive etc from your other computer that way you only worry about the the cpu motherboard ram and case
I sugest the following
case>antec 300
mobo>gigabyte ud3
Ram>Kingstom value ram
CPU>AMD PhenomII 920
GPU>HD4350 (perfect if you watch movies but dont do hardcore gaming)
total of this is aproximalety 534$ with shipping and taxes before rebates
what kind of games will this play and at what settings

If you were referring to my build, you would be able to play Crysis on 1680x1050 resolution, settings Medium / High, 30 FPS.
