Hello, my current PC is in my signature and I'm looking to buy something for 22-25k INR (Indian Rupee) within the next month. GTX760 fits my budget (HD7950 is about 26k against 22k for GTX760) so I'm wondering if it's a worthwhile upgrade from my HD5850. I am looking to play Total War Rome II and Battlefield 4 at 1080p.

GTX 760 would be a very nice upgrade from a 5850, and will do what you want it to do.

My i5 2500k won't be much of a bottleneck if at all right?

Thanks guys :D, I just ordered MSI GTX760 (N760 TF 2GD5-OC), it was the cheapest I could find (23k INR with shipping, GTX670 goes for around 30k INR with shipping) and apparently it had good reviews too.

The MSI is one of the best - very cool and quiet. Good choice.

Gtx is a great card and even gtx780 won't bottleneck i5 2500

Costs 7k more (~30%) than a GTX760 here...

Yeah, that's kinda weird. But I don't think 670 is much above a 760 OC'd. So that's cool. I just want to run TW:R2 and Very high/Ultra and BF4 at 35FPS+

My i5 2500k doesn't bottleneck my Crossfire 7950's even at stock.  I've tinkered with benchmarks in so many configurations that I feel comfortable with playing just about everything at stock speeds.  Of course the speed demon in me likes to keep things fairly over clocked anyways...but that cpu is the "little engine that could."

I'll probably keep it well into the next gen.

What are you using to cool it?

Corsair Hydro H70 with two really quiet fans.  Works great.  Runs idle at 24-25 C.  Under load @ 4.5Ghz, I don't think I've ever seen it go much over 60 (if that).

I'm using a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ but I'm fairly sure it's not seated properly since I'm getting like 40-50C idle on stock. I'll re-seat it when I install the GPU and overclock it a bit.
