[QUOTE="Meu2k7"][QUOTE="Skullheart"][QUOTE="ProudLarry"][QUOTE="Grantelicious"]1. You can have instanced arenas like WOW or DAOC.
2. I played Planetside which is a mmoFPS and no lag what so ever.

1. But that means no World PvP, which sucks, because that's easily the most fun type of PvP.
Oh please, you mean getting to the max level, then roaming around the world killing players 50 levels under you, proving you have zero skill? Yeah, that's so much better than you facing off against an equal amount of enemy players (same level) in an arena.
Also, in world PvP you can gank other players as they're attacking a mob...clearly stating that you have no skill if you do so, because it wouldn't be a fair fight. World PvP is overrated.
Whoa you take skill way too seriously? is everyone equally skilled in real life? no? Did the US/EU troops in Iraq give the slightest damn that thier technology was far great? no?
Skill with even equipment and so on is nothing special, MMORPGs are about being stronger than others aswell as skill thats something you have to accept or go play Guild Wars the most repetitive MMO in existance.
I've made it work for me in Warcraft, and I won't have you tell me how to ****in' play my games, thank you. There is no skill in attacking a player 10 levels below you (at least), or if there's just simply an unfair advantage. World PvP is overrated for that matter because it's all about who has the upper advantage and who doesn't. I believe in a PvP system that's fair. Not perfect, but fair enough. Know what i call it? Warhammer Online.
The point in attacking lowbys is to catch the attention of the higher levels, or to have a swarm of lowbys kill you, its an intersting change from monster grinding and can be quite fun.
God I grew so tired of people on WoW whining about the overated word that is "skill" ... if your dead then I'm alive, I win whatever the damn situation ... ok reapetedly killing lowbys isnt very fair but there are plenty of ways to dodge it normally.
