To SLI or not to SLI?

I have a 40" lcd monitor with a 1920x1080 native res. would it be benificial to sli? beause i plan to run games like crysis and the witcher and Stalker and i want to run them at my monitors native res.

Can this be done?

Definitely. But what exactly are you planning on SLIing, 2x 8800GTXs? Cause that would be sweet.

Pick up one of those 2560x1600 monitors and SLI two 8800ultras...and then OC both of them on watercooling.

A single 8800GTX would do for that resolution.

Pick up one of those 2560x1600 monitors and SLI two 8800ultras...and then OC both of them on watercooling.achilles614

8800 ultras in SLI OC can support 2560x1600 easily.
