I'm trying to decide what I should do . I have a 4800+ amd x2 proccer 500watt power suply 2gig ram . 500 gig hard drive . I recently swaped out 2 256 7800gtx's sli with a single 8800gt with full intention of putting in a second card . I'm trying to decide if I should spend the $500 or so its going to be to get a second vidio card and larger power suply or hold off till fall when I have more cash and get a whole new computer .

It depends on how happy you are with your current rig. If i was you i wouldnt get another 8800gt i would save my money and wait for the 9 series to come out. But then its up to you.

PC Hardware forum, try posting there. And using 500 bucks on a new PSU and a GT is pointless. Use that money on a new GPU that should come out pretty soon. Or buy a new comp this fall. 4800+ is not exactly high end anymore...

Thats what I was sort of thinking of doing . I have had this computer for 2 years now its done its job I really don't want to put to much more cash into it . The single 8800 gt has been great . Been able to play crysis and gears of war with most of the settings on high . my 2 7800s could barly play crysis on medium without hang ups . Also been able to hook up a external hd dvd drive for the xbox 360 to my computer and watch hd movies on computer and I couldn't do that with the 7800's ( not hdcp ) . Thanks for the feedback .
