i just built my new pc and it seems too loud. i thought it would be more quite since its a new pc. the sounds seem to be coming from my CPU. What do u guys think?

New != quiet. Could be a loud gpu fan, could be the hsf... It will be difficult to get the best answer since it is easiest for you to test each component for the sound. My PC is new, and it is the loudest computer I have ever owned- but I knew it would be, and it keeps nice and cool because of it.

"Seems to be"? You're going to have to be more speficic than that. The CM690 has a lot of sound leakage due to its design, and the excessive mesh (3 layers thick over some fans) can cause disrupted airflow that can give off a very annoying noise. As it stands however, I'd suspect either your GPU or CPU fan as being the culprit of your noise problems. The stock AMD fan isn't terribly loud, but it's certainly not inaudible, and the GPU fan is almost always the weak link in any silent system.
