Considering my old HD5450 card can easily run 2W2 at medium settings with some at high, I'd say it isn't going to win ANY graphic awards. It is a rather low end game when it comes to this catagory.

the reason tw2 is harder to run.. is because it isn't optimized enough for newer hardware and software technologies. how hard it is to run just exposes the programmers and is not a good judge. the way i judge graphics is just how realistic they look and how 3d emmerising everything is....

but thanks to whoever linked the catalyst 11.6 drivers. I just tested them out. and why what a diff with the witcher 2 now dude. I can't thank you enough. Now I can no longer say the game runs like total crap. i still get hitching when loading new areas. but the icon pops up usually, and this is to be expected. MY hdd is not fast enough.... and there is no games that totally utilize enough ram.... so thats to be expected. but there is no more microstuttering dude. meaning that totally constant slight shakey blur that is so noticeable to a guy like me. you da man dude tks again... i'll stop posting now :) i still prefer an open world. but hey, the wticher 2 has a great story... and its def not as instanced and has much better textures then the bioware games... thats for sure :)

You said it yourself that its harder to run so who is a troll, I have a hd 6970 and I can play TW2 on average FPS of 50-55 with everything at max of course ubersampling turned off. I dont know how 2W2 runs but from what you said it musnt run to great on a modern PC. I am not saying that one is better then the other one because I havent played 2W2 but graphics wise from vids I saw on youtube TW2 looks better, dont know how 2W2 storyline is but just doubt it that can surpass TW2's story. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm not but its obvious that you have a problem with TW2.

Haha this is a funny thread. Humanoid models in 2W2 are no where near the Witcher's 2. They don't look natural. They look awful. I would even say the models in Morrowind look and move better. 2W2 also has way too much blur it hurt my eyes with how bright it looks walking around in the day time. I'm not one that is picky with graphics to where I won't play the game but, the brightness of that game was unbearable.

I wouldn't know about the story in 2W2 as I only played the game for a few hours before I turned it off never to come back to it. Story and characters were ultra cheesy. I thought gamespot's review was too generous. I would of given the game either a 5 or 6.

they both have the same looking main character, who have the same voice. i swear to got they copied each other. haha but besides that.

You obviously have not played Two Worlds and The Witcher if you believe The Witcher 2 copied Two Worlds 1 or 2 in any manner. Two Worlds 2 definitely copied The Witcher in regards to Geralt. I actually dicussed this on the Two Worlds forums, about how it sounded like they used the same voice actor from The Witcher. Maybe they did. Two Worlds 2 also copied Assassin's Creed; traveling over the rooftops looks nearly identical in animation to Assassin's Creed.

I finished both Two Worlds 2 and The Witcher 2. Both were pretty fun games, but I'm definitely in the group that prefers The Witcher 2.

the both have the same voice. they are both similar looking white guys with long white hair and similar body builds.... i never seen any two games pardon the pun on "two" that had main characters that looked so similar.

You didn't understand what I wrote, did you? I'm saying that if you played The Witcher, you know that Two Worlds 2 obviously copied that game.

The Witcher 2, hands down. The Two Worlds franchise is perhaps my most hated. The first game was absolutely pathetic and the second, while somewhat improved, was still terrible.
