the reason tw2 is harder to run.. is because it isn't optimized enough for newer hardware and software technologies. how hard it is to run just exposes the programmers and is not a good judge. the way i judge graphics is just how realistic they look and how 3d emmerising everything is....[QUOTE="Deathykins"]
Considering my old HD5450 card can easily run 2W2 at medium settings with some at high, I'd say it isn't going to win ANY graphic awards. It is a rather low end game when it comes to this catagory.

but thanks to whoever linked the catalyst 11.6 drivers. I just tested them out. and why what a diff with the witcher 2 now dude. I can't thank you enough. Now I can no longer say the game runs like total crap. i still get hitching when loading new areas. but the icon pops up usually, and this is to be expected. MY hdd is not fast enough.... and there is no games that totally utilize enough ram.... so thats to be expected. but there is no more microstuttering dude. meaning that totally constant slight shakey blur that is so noticeable to a guy like me. you da man dude tks again... i'll stop posting now :) i still prefer an open world. but hey, the wticher 2 has a great story... and its def not as instanced and has much better textures then the bioware games... thats for sure :)
You said it yourself that its harder to run so who is a troll, I have a hd 6970 and I can play TW2 on average FPS of 50-55 with everything at max of course ubersampling turned off. I dont know how 2W2 runs but from what you said it musnt run to great on a modern PC. I am not saying that one is better then the other one because I havent played 2W2 but graphics wise from vids I saw on youtube TW2 looks better, dont know how 2W2 storyline is but just doubt it that can surpass TW2's story. Maybe I'm wrong or maybe I'm not but its obvious that you have a problem with TW2.
