[QUOTE="BounceDK"]Is it a pc game? ..theking52
And console.
Wow it looks good. I hope the combat will actually be like that. I mean with the slow-mo for strong/fatality moves. Like 300 :D
Whoa, I thought it was for 360 only. This is great news thats it coming for PC too.

is it? What has Ubisoft done well in regard to pc gaming in the past few years. They have been worse than EA for that matter.Â
[QUOTE="daytona_178"]Thats a rubbish trailer.... you should see the actual gameplay footage while its being played. It looks a lot better that than that-XXVII-
That was all in game dumbass.
When is this friggin game coming out?Â
Yeah, but that's not actualy ingame footage.
Seeing cool edited, scripted and staged scenes is one thing. Seeing actualy ingame footage is another.
Game looks totally sweet and I cant wait for it to come out. However, doesnt anyone think its like a Prince of Persia game with better graphics? From that video, a lot of the movies looked a lot like Prince of Persia. Not saying that its a bad thing, I was just wondering if anyone else thought this way. Sephiroth__666
Its an action game, so ya you could say its similiar...but there are lots of action games.
I am really curious about the storyline. From what I gathered its gonna be told sort of like where you play this modern relative of the assassin in 1191 and they somehow come up with a way to create flashbacks by using your DNA (genetic memory is the real-life term for the theory that DNA remembers actual family history). Is this correct? Also, the producer (Jade? she is hot...) said that there is a conspiracy in 1191 that will have repercussions in the modern day...I wonder what it is!?!??!
[QUOTE="Decado_basic"]Chances of a half-@ssed PC port from Ubisoft? 95% :(finch9600which is a cryin' shame because the mod possibilities are endless. create your own assasin scenario. that would be cool but since this is not a FPS, ubisoft will ruin it. GRAW .. Nuff said.
the thing about ubisoft in the past is that the company was actively supporting seven systems, and some of their games actually did multiformat all the way to all seven machines - hard to believe
ubisoft sucked because ubisoft was spreading itself too thin, devoting too little time and resources where (we, being pc gamers, feel) they were most needed
i think we should give ubisoft the benefit of the doubt, given that the company is now exclusively focusing on ps3, 360 and pc development (splinter cell 5 is coming to pc and 360 only, which was a bold move)
assassin's creed looks like a lot of great technologies working in tandem very nicely - as for the game itself, i don't know... but it's certainly a very interesting setting... i'm expecting pretty much splinter cell meets prince of persia, with a few interesting new gameplay mechanics
as for its stunning visuals, i like to remind myself whenever i see a great looking game, after i clean up the drool, that a great looking game that's no good to play might last you a few hours, but a great playing game can last years...
ubisoft is on the naughty list for a lot of pc gamers right now, but if there's one game that could turn that around right now, it's definitely gonna be assassin's creed
GRAW is bad because the "different" gameplay, the real GRAW is much better, Vegas is bad because they've killed the original franchise to appeal to playstation 2Â gamers.
This is different because it's a dumbed down franchise or a "Special" for PC title, it may be bad but what i've seen point to the contrary. The only difference between each version will be controls. Splinter Cells controls are not that bad. What may be bad will be hardware support, or not
While the trailer looked cool I would much rather have seen in game footage. The trailer didn't look like much has changed since the previous trailer/movie
Ubisoft Montreal is actually pretty good at games. It sucks though that many of their latest PC ports have been handeled by thier sister companies... Ubi Shanghi for example did GRAW and SC:DA I think for PC, and they were both horrible.KorJax
I believe the most talented of Ubi is working on Assasin's Creed and the other game Haze. As well as the new Splinter Cell game.
Eidos Montreal will be opening a studio in September and working on Deus Ex 3. This isn't 100% confirmed but it almost is there. I heard that Ubi might be helping these guys out which will be huge news for Deus Ex fans. As you know I am a huge fan of Deus Ex :).
