Damn, I knew 180 dollars for a 8600 Ultra was too cheap!

And ya, its better to get the next higher chip than to get 256 more MB of video memory.  Definately a marketing ploy.

yea, i laugh when i see really weak vid card that had 512 megs of ram. Like best buy with geforce fx5200s or something with a ton of ram.ankor77
