Damn, I knew 180 dollars for a 8600 Ultra was too cheap!
And ya, its better to get the next higher chip than to get 256 more MB of video memory. Definately a marketing ploy.
Well some games and Res's Get Bottlenecked. See also the 320 GTS getting 14fps @ 21** x 19** Of course nobody has a 30" Monitor But yeah its mostly marketing like when i saw a 512MB x1300 :pDamn, I knew 180 dollars for a 8600 Ultra was too cheap!

yea, i laugh when i see really weak vid card that had 512 megs of ram. Like best buy with geforce fx5200s or something with a ton of ram.ankor77Well im getting a 8800GTS or the 8900GT :D same price no which one to choose! $399.00
