Upgrade monitor?

I`ve been giving my system an overhaul the past month or so and i think its the monitors turn.

What i have = Samsung 2032bw (20 inch @ 1680x1050)

Budget of ~£150

I have seen some 23inch 1080p monitors at that price but will i notice a big difference? should this be an essential upgrade?

the difference between 20 and 23 inch is easily noticeable.

I've noticed the difference in resolution going from 1600x900 to 1920x1080

Also, add that 1920x1080 is 16:9 while 1680x1050 is 16:10 and I think it's worth it
