Upgrade suggestion needed.

Hi , I want to upgrade my graphics card to play the witcher 3 nicely, and by nicely I mean high graphics! any suggestion to which card should I upgrade? my current system specs are following

ATI radeaon hd 5450 1gb

intel core i5 2320, 3.0 Ghz

6 gb ram

@ShadowDeathX: my budget for graphics card would be some what between 100$ & 150$, and I don't know what power supply rating actually means.

@shahid07: if you read the Wattage off of the sticker on your power supply, this can tell you roughly how powerful a card you can handle. What is the model number of it?

@shahid07: this is what 100-150$ can get your right now, I'd say medium settings is at most if you want steady 60fps.

well, the graph there indicates that something like a RX460 or GTX950 will let you run it in HD (that is, 1080p) - but if you want High-Ultra, 60fps @ 1080p - you'll want something like a GXT970 or better. My GTX970 does most things on max in 1080p at ~60fps, but even then I drop to lower framerates at some times, and I also have a better CPU (i5 6500).

It's a demanding game - if you are ok with medium settings you can do better on a tight budget

No, his PSU won't be able to power it...also probably missing a 6 or 8 pin connector for delivering power.

GTX 1060 has a 120W TDP. It could run on a 300W power supply, thouhg most likely a 300W power supply is poorly made and won't last long if the power draw exceeds 220-250W.
