[QUOTE="RevanBITW"] How so? I like how people are throwing crap at him with nothing to back it up.GummiRaccoon

He uses a terrible selection of games for his tests. Â He uses settings that introduce GPU bottlenecking, which is the worst possible way to test CPUs. Â His results are invalid. Â There are even mismatches between what he says and what is shown onscreen at a couple of points in the video. Â There have been multiple people who responded to his video with their own tests using the 3570k, and their results are markedly different. Â
Bottom line- His testing methodology is garbage, his game selection is garbage, his results are completely inconsistent with what dozens of other reputable reviewers came up with. Â
The whole reason he decided to test was because he thought the 8350s were crap because of all the idiots on the internet. Â He then messed around with one and realized that everybody was full of shit. Â One of the main reasons he gets different results is because he has more than just the game running when he benchmarks in the first video.
Â
Also the videos that "disprove" him are beyond stupid. Â In one that they use a "3570k" they are actually using a 3770k.
Â
I certainly don't think that the 8350 is crap. Â I don't think anybody is saying that. Â However, Logan's methodology is completely improper for testing CPUs. Â Therefore, his results are nearly meaningless. Â The fact is that we already have dozens of reviews from reputable sources, which all seem to paint the picture that the 3570k/3770k (we all know the difference in gaming performance is negligible) are significantly better gaming CPUs. Â
That's all there is to be said. Â Logan's game selection was bad, his testing methodology was terrible for testing CPUs, and his results are more than suspect for these reasons. Â Â
