Whilst you use uncanny words like whilst so that people will think you are smart, people who aren't that smart, like me, are still smart enought to know that you need a new vocabulary.Tifa923
It's quoted from the article, but nonetheless, that writer does need a new vocabulary.
Whilst America is suffering an economic downturn, gas prices rise day after day and the dollar weakens under pressure, one American is going against this trend; virtually. An avid Internet gamer from Chicago IL, known only as Jake, has made history by making the largest purchase of "virtual currency" ever reported. He did so through the game World of Warcraft, purchasing 1,000,000 Gold (the game's currency) at a cost of just over $40,000.

Whilst I think this is an amazing story, this surely a "giant leap" too far in gaming addiction. Anyone else ever spent real-money on virtual currency?iitob
And as soon as Blizzard looks to find the account that had 1,000,000 less gold in it a day ago, and bans that account... he's going to find out how bad a move that was.

You could buy a really nice car for 40 grand, or pay off a good part of a house or condo. Seriously. What an R TARD!

It's his money. I'm sure if you had the money, it wouldn't be going towards students or cancer organizations.

And buying a car doesn't benefit anyone else so you're doing the exact same thing as him. It's just he'd prefer to spend money something he likes (apparently World of Warcraft). I have no doubt he already has a fancy car anyways.
Don't flame him on how he spends his money, at least his not spending it on illegal drugs or something like that. He probably got millions left anyway.Yorro
