You have to consider one primarily creates FPS and the other RPGDr_BrocoliWhich makes them a poor comparison. Bioware vs Obsidian would be a better poll, since they both do RPGs, though slightly different kinds. I don't only prefer RPGs to FPS, I actually don't play FPS at all, so Valve means nothing to me. I've never played their games, and don't particularly want to. For me personally, this poll has only one option, which makes it kind of pointless. Not that will stop me from voting for the company that made Baldur's Gate, KotOR, Jade Empire, and Dragon Age, of course. :)
Bah no way Bio Ware all the way and Half Life is so not the best series of FPS games ever. Mind you its all opinion.I love BioWare, but it's Valve all the way. The best single-player FPS series ever (Half-Life) + the best multiplayer game ever (Team Fortress 2) + Portal + Steam (the most important thing to happen to PC gaming in the past decade). Not really such a tough decision when you look at it. :P

Its not a tough decision.
You have a bad game dev and then you have a terrible one.
I go for Bioware.
No, its not for the lulz.
This is because the half life universe has absolutely no appeal to me,
nevermind the stale gameplay. At least i had a good run with DaO.
[QUOTE="teacher_1"]VALVE loses solely due to STEAM. Digital Restrictions Management is illegal HERE in the usa, so even if it were VALVE versus Satan, Valve would still LOSE.millerlight89
What in the hell are you talking about? STEAM is wonderful.
The success of Steam will probably be indirectly responsible for other companies creating their own forms of DRM where internet connection is a requirement. (ala Ubisoft) Dunno how wonderful that really is. Steam is just a slightly nicer form of DRM than others atm.
I gotta go with BioWare here. Neverwinter Nights was all I played for years, and while I havn't played all of their releases I've yet to be dissapointed with one.
While I like the HL series a lot, I was extremely pissed at Valve way back when I bought HL2, there was this annoying DRM on it that prevented me from playing it for nearly a year until I got broadband access to the internet. Steam refused to work on dial-up.
Plus Bioware seems to have a bigger catalog, I can honestly only think of 2 games of Valve's, Half-Life and L4D
