VGA and DVI ? Any difference ?

Im just wondering if there is any difference between DVI and VGA cables to use with the monitor ?

Yup, exactly. It does depend on the monitor. You'll see a bigger gain on some monitors vs. other ones, but in general it's better to use DVI if you have the option.

I agree with both of replies. DVI is actually much better. Shegevara
your probably not going to see a difference with VGA or DVI on most monitors, but its always nice to go digital.

Generally DVI gives a better quality picture, and I believe it auto adjusts the screen so it fits perfectly so theres no black lines on any side.

the black lines will depend on the scaling option you have chosen,

My monitor had a very blurry image with VGA. When i got DVI image was crystal clear.

You could come better even with VGA-DVI converter for monitor on mine rather than with VGA.
