I agree with both of replies. DVI is actually much better. Shegevarayour probably not going to see a difference with VGA or DVI on most monitors, but its always nice to go digital.
What do people mean when they say 'better', in what way?farkinellGenerally DVI gives a better quality picture, and I believe it auto adjusts the screen so it fits perfectly so theres no black lines on any side.

My monitor had a very blurry image with VGA. When i got DVI image was crystal clear.
You could come better even with VGA-DVI converter for monitor on mine rather than with VGA.
