I would very much like to get a 8800 video card sometime in the near future. But, what usually happens to me is right when I buy the hardware it drops in price. So I was looking on Newegg and I saw a good 8800GTX for around $500. I'm guessing when Nvidia releases the newer 9 series the 8's will drop in price. Do you guys think my Christmas time the 8800 cards will go down in price or what? What really looked nice was the 8800 Ultra. If it goes down to $500 I might grab it. I never had a super card like an Ultra before and now that I have a bit more money I would love to say I own one.
