most any place that sells computer parts sells video cards. Price will range from $30-$600 for standard consumer cards
the important thing is what type of interface slot you have-pci, pci-e, agp.

That cards really good but you need to run it in sli-fire mode with a fx5500 for best performance.

Nope. That's really old, really crappy, never was a gamers' card. Read the GameSpot article before asking more questions, or read it more slowly to absorb what it is telling you. "600" is the starting performance level for a beginner gamer, or part time gamer. "800" is for playing games a lot, and the "900 / 950" level is for those who are insane about their game playing (plus, have plenty of money to spend on expensive toys).
The last three numbers are what counts, not the generation indicators in the names. A "300" is always crap. AN "SE" of anything is also typically crap, so your choice was DOUBLE crap.

He is TROLLING to cause trouble, pure and simple. Incidentally, AFAIK, the option to put ATI cards in Crossfire has/ had a bottom limit card when it was included (the X1800, probably). And it had not been part of the X*** series when those were introduced, so adding it would've required a major redesign to include it in any X700 / X800 / X850 (those were the only new ones in the X***'s, the low performance ones were all Radeon 9600 ports).
can anyone tell me what intel(R) pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz is? and is5.03GHz good?
mugadai
That Pentium D is quite slow and obsolete for modern games, and using core speed clocks for a guide for performanace was already equally obsolete at least two years, maybe even three years, before the Core Duo family of CPUs finally were released. Google is your friend; all can be answered that way, but Wikipedia is pretty good on some stuff, so it'e your choice. But do ignore the TROLL. I don't understand why Krall hasn't disciplined that idiot yet.
