I've updated my sound drivers and don't know what else to do, I've had this problem so many times and never found a solution. So once more, please help out a fellow GS buddy.

ur headset drivers might not support 64bit if ur using vista 64

Yeah, what he said, on the manufacturers site there should be two types of drivers, x64 (64bit) and x86 (32bit), find out which one you have (in control panel-system) and download the right one. If this doesn't fix your problem try running the drivers in compatability mode.

If the headset uses 3.2mm connections there is no need for any drivers. I have the same headset and the mic and speakers work just fine on it. If it's USB, that is a different story.

PS/2 connections are those used on keyboards(purple) and mouses(green).

You may need drivers for your ON BOARD Audio device or your sound card(which ever you have).

it could be a problem with the drivers not installing properly, if you have access try to hook it up to a pc running xp maybe?
