I highly doubt a 7600GT could max BF2 but I do remember my 7900GT maxing it. Also an 8600GT isn't that great of a card so it doesn't suprise me that it doesn't max BF2142 which is newer than BF2.Trilvester
BF2 recommended a 6800 which a 7600 outperforms so Marine is probably right.

Boy I thought when I had the 7600gt and then whent to a 8600gt I thought I was getting a great card at that time and now I find out it isn't that good after all boy.
Well this makes me feel better by going off and getting another card and this time I made sure it was a good no great card and it is the 8800gt superclocked 512mb card and wow what a difference that has made. Love it.
I just figered if A decent card from the 7 series cood run bf2 at max acording to some ppl , i thought that a decent 8 series card could max it with no problems. But i guess im wrong, and I still get how ppl say they run the bf games on max with my card when I cant.Marine152
I don't know if I would call a 8600gt a decent 8 series card, its over a year old now. With so many different options at the 8800 level it is hard to call the 8600gt a gamers video card. Even an 8800gs at only $100 would have been a huge increase over the 8600gt
