If you never cared for Star Wars Universe, you may like this game. If you never cared for Star Wars Universe, you will probably not like this game. If you kinda like Star Wars, you will probably like this game. If you ever played World of Warcraft extensively, you will probably like this game. If you ever played World of Warcraft, you might hate this game. If you like MMOG's in general, you may fall in love with this game. If you are waiting for Diablo 3, your brain will be crushed by your extreme urge to play it and implode when you click "play" on the SWTOR client. Sorry this post was useless.

yea no worries lol. i love the star wars universe and couldnt really get into the wow grind (i was pretty late into the game). although it was fun i just didnt really find playing by myself/grinding fun. im interested in swtor because its a story driven mmo and it seems like it has different aspects from wow.

You're so tight on money you can't afford SWTOR right now and Diablo 3 a few months later?

D3 is at least 3 months away, but if you only want to get one, D3 hands down.

I think D3 is still pretty far away, so it can't hurt playing SWTOR for your free 30 days.

So far, I've solo'ed everything in SWTOR. It's easy to get by with your companion. Everyone gets one through the main quest line. You could even take on elites with your companion and two-three adds. This discourages partying up imho. Something that I liked a lot in WoW. But SWTOR throws in the dialogue system like BioWare's other games, and does it well. The writing isn't as brilliant but it's good enough. If that's the kind of thing you like in an MMOG, then you'll like it. It's very similar to WoW. It's like a re-skinned WoW with dialogue, which isn't a bad thing. Like others have said, Diablo 3 is a long way from now. :)

SWTOR is amazing it's like Mass Effect, KoTOR and WOW all in one game. There is space combat, mutliplayer and all with the feel of a single player game...I truly cannot say enough good things about this game.

Don't like Star Wars at all, no love for games, no love for movie neither.

Tight on money and an MMO don't go hand in hand. ...And this time it's not me-being-biased-against-star-wars, but my vote goes to "Waiting for Diablo 3"

I spend less money if I'm actively playing an MMO and just paying the monthly fee compared to when I buy new games rather frequently and play through them. And I think this applies to lots of people. Anyway I don't know how you can be so low on money that you couldn't buy SWTOR now and get Diablo 3 whenever it gets released.. It's months away.
