well here do the following
: start> run> in the box type dxdiag> hit ok> let it run its test give us what it says under display
while your at it try and find out what ports you have to expand on because really a geforce fx 5200 can handle halo on high rotfl
ok but where can i get this card? also heres what halo trial says when i try to start it up. "Your computer's video driver is known to have serious issues with the game. A newer version that is compatible may be available. If you wish to update your drivers, please contact your computer manufacuter for any necessary assistance." Machine Info: 1700MHz, 960MB, 64M VIA KM400 (0x7205)yes u do... i dont think there is any other way

driver is only helpful if you've got an existing graphics card that supports that game!
If you don't then the updating the drivers won't help. Check www.systemrequirementslab.com and see if you can run halo or halo 2. By the ways what's your current video card?
yeah via GPU's suck. They should still be able to play halo 1 though, i got a computer with 128mb of ram 1.6ghz processor and intergrated graphics to run it at a playable framerate. It musn't like the driver, type that model no into google with driver written after it.
its for an update on it however its still wise to get a gpu because really playing halo is great and all but there will always be "whats next?" say for example if they make ODST or wars on pc id imagine youd want that too just pick upo an hd 2400 pro and all will be right with the world (i suggest it because its that last ard to cover all three slots (pci-e, agpx8, and pci)
