not a real rts buff, and never get into them that much but was thinkin of trying em both out, which i can considering there are free downloads of em. just wanted to kno which u thought was better
Even though you've played both, I'll chime in - Warcraft is EXTREMELY slow. It's like an turn-based RPG with non-stop random battles. I would say the hardest of the three, just because the few missing links (like Diablo and Diablo 2).

Played them both extensively. WC2 is 100% better than 1. WC1, once you would summon your demon/elemental, the game was over... and the environment was pretty generic. WC2 had such a great environment and was my first real game addiction.
