Why so little? If WW2 Online was done with a big budget by today's standards, I know it'd be a hit. Huxley looks unappealing and rather small scale. Instead of focusing on "earning gear", they should just let you use new equipment classes as you rank up. So people will play the game because it's fun - not to level up. Will this genre every jumpstart?

I have Hellgate:london which is a MMORPGFPS and really disliked it, so not really looking forward to MMOFPS, if they differ from HGL then ill try them out.

HGL wasn't even an MMO let alone a FPS. It had a terribly done Hunter class and that's it.

I never got into it - but I like WW2 online. But we need something new. With good graphics and ragdoll.

Fallen Earth doesn't look like a MMOFPS.. in fact they call it a MMORPG in the FAQ and the second video shows real-time timer-based combat when he is fighting that serpent thingie. It looks pretty low budget too :o

Anyway I agree with the OP. WWII Online kind of sucked, and it was outdated already when it came out, and I didn't find it very fun to play. It would take forever just to find something interesting to do, or you'd die in one hit and have to spend forever returning to the battlefield.

Planetside was great while it lasted, but I got bored of it after a couple months. I'm not sure why I stopped playing it. Maybe I'll see if there is a thing where you can play for free for a little bit if you are a returning customer.

I disagree. I think it's pretty great. It never takes me over a minute to get into a battle. You just got to go to where the cities are contested. Theres' definitely some patience required but the rewards are great. One/Two hit kills are awesome too. Stick to the bushes! Nothing makes my heart sink more than sprinting from one bush-line to another and then I hear the crack of a bullet and my vision begins to darken.

I as well am praying for some MMOFPS action. I'm desperately hoping for a sort of mix bewtween 3 games, which are: Brothers in Arms, WWII Online and Hellgate: London. The utlimate mix would be: Gameplay and graphics of BiA, the setting and magnitude of WWIIO and the combination of single- and multiplayer gameplay. Like that you could start something like WWIIO online, with every player online, but could also do it in singleplayer with bots that have the AI of the Germans in BiA, or with two or three friends (and online play being free, that would be nice).
