Well, lol, that is such an open ended question..."good games" so many :P

Um, fps I would recommend my fave, Call of Duty 4, and I used to like Unreal Tournament 2004, it kept me up many hours...but those are pretty typical, and Rainbow Six Vegas has a great co-op campaign, and the multiplayer online is a little iffy imo, it wasn't that great on first experience because of some lag and spawn killing.

Open ended rpg, Mercenaries 2 is awesome, me and my bf have been playing it co-op online together, the game overall has great graphics and lots of action, but the multiplayer is sorta limited imo, b.c if you join a friends match online...they get to do the side missions with your help...but he gets all the money and credit for it...so kinda lame.

Racing games I havent played much in awhile, except Midnight Club Racing Los Angelos on xbox360, and its pretty cool

Other rpg, like Mass Effect has a good story and action... even tho its single player its still a "good game" lol

Diablo 2 is excellent rpg, really fun with 2+ player lan if you can handle the graphics, but there is a high resolution patch that makes it look great.

I dunno, I like all sorts of games, and these are the ones I have been playing most recently that I have really liked, and would recommend to anyone, for sheer story, or graphics, or action packed gameplay I think these have been pretty fair to me. Hope this helps a little. 8)

For RPG's I recommend 2 games: Gothic 2 and/or Risen. Haven't played the latter, but Gothic 2 is definately worth checking out if you're into rpg's. It's got a great story-line - great class system - and a world which is highly reactive to you depending on which guild you join (If you're a mercenary it'll be alot more controversial than if you were, say - a paladin or a mage). Also it's very big and every inch is covered with hand-placed content - no randomly generated, er, stuff.

Risen is the next game the company that made gothic 2 made - haven't played it but it's gotten some favorable reviews. Probably just like gothic 2 but with better graphics.

If you like open RPG's, I suggest you take a look at the elder scroll 3 morrowind, a real masterpiece if you ask me..
