Just wondering which controller I should go with for PC gaming? Some games I intend to get are Burnout Paradise, Elder Scrolls IV, Batman Arkham Asylum, Left 4 Dead 2, and Bioshock.

I was thinking the XboX 360 contoller? Good choice?

Thanks.

I use a 360 controller, although only for racing games (KB+M is more useful in other genres). I find it works perfectly well.

360 controller is fine but if you like DS3 better, you can use that too with Motioninjoy.

360 controller modern games mostly support the 360 controller and you don't have to map any buttons in game's and some games only support the 360 controller.

Make sure you get a dongle for the wireless or get the wired controller instead.

You actually WANT a controller for most of those games? I can understand for Burnout Paradise and maybe Arkham Asylum, but the rest of those games feel much better with a mouse and keyboard.

the 360 is they way to go for trouble free gaming, other controllers tend to require work arounds to work in many new games.

I have an Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows allowing me to use all my wireless xbox 360 controllers. It supports up to 4 controllers at once, just like the Xbox 360 itself. The Xbox 360 controller is my all-time favorite gamepad, and as other have pointed out already, most newer games support the controller out-of-the-box (especially multi-platform releases which as such lets you play pretty much exactly like on the 360.)

Been using ps2, SNES, SNES arcade sticks, and a couple wired 360 controllers. All work nicely for games I want... Get whatever controller you feel most comfortable with.

I use a 360 rip off wired controller from MADCATZ. It works great in usb slot and can work on a 360 too ,plus Madcatz only costs $25.

No that controller is not good at all compared to the stock 360 controller if you want a decent 3rd party controller then get a hori turbo pad ex 2 which i enjoy better then a official 360 controller only flaws are its only wired(cause of stupid Microsoft) and the dead zones on the analogs are bigger then the stock. But the larger size is perfect for my hands most comfortable controller I've held in my hands.
