what do i need for a extreme gaming desktop?

i need to know what i need for an extreme gaming desktop any suggestions btw im building it from the ground uploanstar744

We would have to have a price. You could spend well over $10,000 if you wanted to. What's your price range? A pretty awsome tower can be built for a couple grand or so.

and im thinking of getting an intel core 2 duo extreme processor but im thinking of getting an AMD Athlon FX-74 too im not sure wich is better but i do wanna get the new ati raedon HD 3870 x2 or the ati readon HD 4870 X2 those things are bad ass

the only thing im not sure of is the motherboard with a liquid cooling system my dell has it and its awesome i hardly hear any noise from this baby but its older so thats why im building one from the ground up
