I try to run Jamestown on my netbook but an error says the game requires a video card that supports shader model 2.0 or greater. Is there any software that can make up for this? And for Amnesia: the dark descent, my computer doesn't have H&L. Thanks

Your problem lies with hardware, not software. Unfortunately your netbook cannot be upgraded with a better graphics chip, as it is integrated. So I'm afraid your petty much stuck.

WTF lol it's bad enough people try to game on $500 laptops - net books are barely good enough for web surfing let alone 3d gaming ... you can't game on a netbook don't even try.

Oh I can game on a netbook. I can run Braid and PvZ just fine. No worries though I have a desktop, I just wanted to play these games on my netbook for the convenience.

You can run low demanding games, but anything more will just cripple it.

Lol I remember trying to run a simple steam game on my netbook. It was like a geometry wars knock off, but it was less stressful.

NetBook.....
My friend had the same problem playing Fallout on his.
Netbooks are fitted only with an Intel Atom Core, 1GB Ram and a 32MB Card.

If you want to game on a laptop, i suggest a Better Laptop

Netbooks don't run games more demanding than Farmville. If you want to play games, you'll need a new computer.

Its playable. 20-29fps lowest settings 800x600 and my netbook it over 2 years old. In a city though it drops to like 4 or 5 FPS lol. I do alot of questing and 5 mans on my netbook.

I also own a netbook (using it to post this comment actually), and I have found that they can run most older games (5 years old or older) fairly good. Trying to play anything less than 5 years old is just not possible unless the games is not demanding at all on PC specs. I would also recommend you upgrade your memory from 1GB to 2GB even for web surfing, as my netbook really struggled to run Windows 7 starter with only 1GB of RAM. I keep a few older games installed on the netbook in case I am traveling, but almost all of my gaming is done on my desktop.
