I'd say yes, I've played it and I loved every minute of it. One of the best Diablo clones ever made, alongside Sacred.

Definitely - I really like it. It's the best Diablo-esque game since Diablo 2. You can probably find the Gold Edition which includes the expansion pack for not much more. It has a really long campaign, and three difficulty levels, and a massive number of different characters to play by combining any two of nine masteries to create a unique character that plays how you want it.

Shame Iron Lore went bust, as I would have loved to have seen a sequel.

it's probably the better Diablo clone out there. I find it too repetitive and with the Diablo annoying saving progress system (you don't save on location, you load the save game and start from certain fixed location; monsters are always respawned...and you just keep killing and leveling-up etc.).

that said, I'm not Diablo kinda guy~~ I've heard good things about this game from those who are fond of Diablo.

$20 is a great price of this game. I enjoyed it when I was playing it.

actually, the graphic is just ok. it's in classical isometric view, fine graphics, but nothing spectacular. your rig should max it out at pretty much all resoultion except for 2560x1600

The graphics are considerably better than similar games such as Diablo 2, and an improvement over Dungeon Siege 2, but you can't really compare it to the likes of Crysis or another recent FPS. A decent gaming PC built 2 years ago could probably max it out, though in large fights you may get some slowdown.

Dude, for $20 you can get both the original and expansion. I think it's totally worth it.

And yeah, it is very Diablo-esque. Honestly, I think it's better than Diablo in many ways. It certainly feels and plays more refreshingly. The only thing that sucks is the lack of character classes since you only can be a guy or a girl.

But the game is rock solid. If Diablo III never was announced or if you want to play something similar to hold you over, Titan Quest is the best Diablo-clone you can play.

it's an improvement over older hack n' slashers, yes, but if you want to say "cannot compare to..." we needn't go that far to FPS, just look at improved Aroura -- The Witcher, CRPG, the graphic of Titan Quest is elementary. one thing though, it does look more pleasant and vivid than full-3D Hellgate: London~"~

Well good game, but not better than Diablo 2, imo. Loot system didn't seem as good, and I really didn't feel like playing through it more than once.

Super Big yes. One of the best of its kind out there.

The amount of skills combos gives you tons of choices to play with. http://www.titancalc.com/

If you liked diablo 2 you'll probably love Titan quest just make sure you do get expansion. Adds alot.

It's the best of the Diablo clones (by a long shot to me) overall. The simple addition of ragdoll was huge fun back then. :) And yeah, just get the Gold pack off of steam for $20, and ALWAYS run the game as immortal throne - it works like d2lod, where running the expansion just adds an extra act onto the end of the original game, but the expansion's improvements are included on the original. Sad though is that the devs of Titan Quest went out of business last year, they ran out of money because TQ apparently didn't sell well until they were gone.

It's diablo - awesomeness , got bored after 10-12 hours with warrior+storm class, guess I chose the worst classes.

Warrior/Dream or Rogue/Dream = awesomeness. I find endless joy in seeing exactly how far I can fling enemies away from me when I hit them with a fully upgraded Phantom Strike. And ragdoll in TQ is thoroughly enjoyable (I landed a spider up in a tree a couple times after I detonated on the group that tried to swarm me).

By far my favorite Diablo-clone game...in fact I think in many ways it's superior to Diablo II.

Things I consider better then Diablo II:

-Ragdoll effects (like previously said, watching monsters go flying is a satisfying thing)
-Better graphics (not just technology wise, but areas are better realized)
-Greater variety of items and visual looks for your character (sheer number of item types in TQ is awe-inspiring)
-Better cls system (ability to mix and match two different ****s makes for tons of variety...even in the ****s themselves they offer options for instance being hunter and choosing between bow/spear).
-Better boss fights with more complicated encounters
-More in depth combat (Diablo II was pretty much a one skill wonder game, TQ did a better job of giving you more active skills that were worth using together)

Things I consider worse:
-Closed server support (this is a HUGE one...too bad they couldn't add this feature)
-Atmosphere (Diablo is simply king in this department)
-Story
-Cutscenes (TQ has a nice intro cutscene, but that's about it. Diablo II has wonderfull cutscenes between every act that move the story foward)
-Characters (While TQ has some famous people in it from mythology, you really don't care about any of them. Diablo was smart enought to create a few characters that stay with you...deckard for instance)

Anyways, like most everyone else has said, it's definetly worth the $20 to get the game and it's expansion. Heck, I am playing the game right now. Seems like everytime a current game gets boring (AoC was my last game) Titan Quest is right there.

The best thing about Titan Quest that Diablo can't touch on or compete with is the seamless gameplay. There are no loading times in-between areas, well, unless you warp. But if you play it without warping around, it really feels like you're playing in one giant world.

There's also night and day cycling, which is a nice touch. And different enemies come out during that time depending on what time of day it is.

I love TQ. No other Diablo clone gave me that "Diabloe rush and excitement" as I experienced when I first picked up and played D2.
