For me it was Dragon Age:Ultimate Edition for $25 8)

I think the Half-Life deal was the sweetest, most worthwhile deal they had on this sale. Getting all the games in the series for five or six bucks. Absolutely amazing deal. I had them all before the deal so I didn't buy it, but I was still very impressed with this deal.
Valve pack for $25 the first day of sales. I did the Math, that's about $1.14 per game. :D
That or the Square-Enix-Edios-Pack. Picked it up for $74.99, marked down from $606. Wow!
I was most excited to pick up Mafia II for 9,99€. Kudos to 2K for lowering the price by so much so soon. Awesome deal.
Serious Sam Gold (both originals, both remakes) for $4. Oh, and the Jedi Knight collection for $5. Can't go wrong with either of those.
I also got Borderlands GOTY for $25, which was a really good deal. It was that or DAO, but I have Baldur's Gate, KOTOR 2 and NWN 2 to play and don't need another huge RPG at the minute.
Probably one of the Publisher packs..Literally 100s of dollars off!
The Indie packs weren't bad either..
Crysis Maximum was 5 euros!? It was $25 here!Crysis Maximum and Stalker Bundle, both for €5. I had both, but the deals were so great I just gave each to one of my friends as a present.

Yep. Us Europeans got screwed over with the BC2 deal, so I guess that makes it even. :P
i downloaded alpha protocal at direct to drive when it was 7 bucks. The install never seems to work and the game wont load..... Can not get it to work at all.
Bad Company 2 for 6.80 seems like the best bang for the buck; the game is infinitely fun, awesome, and great lol
but deal by a strict monetary standard would likely be one of the developer packs; like 700 regular, but sold for 70 bucks!? Freaking insane. I got the THQ pack last Winter, helluva deal
The best deals were probably the Orange Box for $15, Mafia II at $12.50 (Really wish I bought it at this price), and Battlefield Bad Company 2 at $6.80.
It was better for $6. Super Meat Boy for $3.50 was the best deal.Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for $12 was pretty sweet.

How much was BC2 in euros? My vote goes to Darksiders for $10, as well as pretty much all of the indie packs. I mean, wow.
There were also a lot of other gems hiding out there for anyone who was paying attention: Commandos pack for $3, Freedom Force pack for $3, Frozenbyte pack (Shadowgrounds and Trine) for $6...
I miss you, Steam sales. *sniff* :(
There's quantity versus quality as well. I could say I got 5 games for 5 bucks (the Jedi Knight pack) but I'm probably not going to touch those old SW FPSes. The deals where the games were less than a third of its original price I'm going to have to say were the steals. Mafia 2 was $12.50 (original price 50), the STALKER pack was $5, and amazingly the Empire Total War/Napoleon collection at 25 bucks that included both games and all the DLCs. Last I checked, d2d was selling Napoleon at 50 bucks alone.

Totally worth it though. Those may be old SW FPSes, but they're awesome SW FPSes. This coming from someone who's playing them for the first time and really doesn't care much for Star Wars extended canon :P
BC2 for $6.80
PB Winterbottom for $0.49
Valve Pack for $24.99
Also:
Humble Bundle
Mirror's Edge, Sim City 4, BC2 SpecAct, others for free at EA Store (through RecycleBank)

All right. Ringing endorsement :P
I like Star Wars *enough* with KoTOR and the original trilogy, but anything past that it gets a little muddy for me. Also I'm not huge into old (real old) games as much as I think I am. I like to say I have the experience of playing classics, but the level of enjoyment is another story. I made my way through Max Payne at a laborious pace and while I mostly enjoyed it, I really only stuck with it to get to Max Payne 2 which I thought was tremendous. I'm nostalgic to the point of having a really good time with a co-op buddy or local multiplayer death match and remembering laughs from way back, but when it was a time where I really didn't think every game was fantastic and those blocky shapes were not mindblowing, I don't see it doing much for me.
King: Arthur the Roleplaying Strategy game deserves a vote. I do not think many people bought it but that was my highlight of the sales. Along with Civilization V I've been playing strategy games a lot over the past few weeks.
The Serious Sam pack was also good (it was years' since I played it and it brings back memories as well as being exttremely fun) and I'm going to beat it eventually. Eventually I'll also beat Super Meat Boy—wait, scrap that—I will never complete Super Meat Boy.
