When you look back as you career as a PC gamers, what is the one definative game that you can say made you into a PC gamer?
For me I think it has to be Quake. It was the first time I ever played online multiplayer, I guess it hooked me.

The early Command and Conquer games. For a good while those were the only PC games I had apart from Doom.
Counter-Strike (beta, not 1.6) got me into PC games, actually. 1.6 is still one of the best FPS' out there, Source is an absolute disgrace to the 'franchise'. But it wasn't only Counter-Strike, it was an army of factors that made me a PC gamer. My dad builds PCs, brother is a huge PC gamer, etc, so I was bound to become one. I'm glad I did.
Jedi Academy. It was also the first online game I played and the first game I experimented with mods.
I kind of stopped being a mainstream PC gamer as of late 2007 though, but seriously. all I want is another Jedi Knight game. best online Star Wars game ever.
I wasn't a big PC gamer till recently, probably around the time I got Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3 (Best christmas evar) I mean, I've always used my PC for Age of Empires and Ut2k4, but I never really considered myself a PC gamer.
Oh man, ages ago. No one's probably heard of this game, though it was popular back then :P
I gamed a bit before for sure, but really crap games like DRIVER, the only good one was FF7 on PC.
But the game that REALLY got me into PC gaming, was Bid For Power (2001) - Quake 3 mod. Good ol' days.
