What games could an 8600gts max out that a 8600gt or 8500gt couldnt with 4200+?

i dont realy have a budget but i would like to go cheap...I plan on getting vista in the fall....I dont really play that many games on my computer but want to run vista with aero and maybe some shooters like battlefield
