yeah significantly better. basically you asked us if a gtx 295 EQUIVALENT was better than a gtx 285.. kind of a no brainer as to which is better.

what are the significant differences between a Asus gpu and a HIS? Both are 5670 ATI chip-set. They seem identical, are there any software differences or support difference in choosing one over the other? thanks

I would wait until this month end and have a look on how the Fermi turns out. Im almoust positive that they'll end up a bit higher in price, but just wait and see.

Ew, don't ever spend money on an nvidia card just for the physx. If you already have an nvidia card, make it a dedicated physx card if you want. You'll end up uninstalling it in a few days.
