What have you picked up in the Steam Christmas/Boxing Day/New Year sale?

Well, Someone had to do it.

I decided to not go over board and only spent $14.30, but I got three games:

• The Monkey Island Bundle (The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition + LeChucks Revenge Special Edition),
• The Deus Ex Collection (Original + Invisible war), and
• Super Meat Boy.

I will admit these games have next to nothing in common but, Then again, These are great games but aren't the kind of games I usually get.

Only BF:BC2 so far. It's my first BF game ever and I have to say... $6.79 is theft :P Great game.

Can't wait to see what's on sale tomorrow.

I bought the FEAR collection. I have played the first one but not the second.

Super Meat Boy so far, but I"m eyeing Blood Bowl, I"m going to see if it goes on even more sale (is that even proper grammar usage?).

Also bought Baldur's Gate II from GoG, but its intimidating me, so I haven't played it yet.

I was quite annoyed at the Rockstar Pack not being available in my region, but I bought Overlord, Overlord II and Star Wars Republic Commando. On top of that I bought the first F.E.A.R. with its two expansions for less than three bucks. I already own the original F.E.A.R, but I've wanted to play Extraction Point for a while now. I already own F.E.A.R 2 and am not interested in Reborn for a while.

The sale that has just rolled out as the 2nd day is crap. It has nothing I want :(

on mine it says COD: Black Ops £39.99, how is that a sale :lol:

I don't hate it, I just prefer BC2.

Of today's sale, I'm only picking up BioShock 2 for 10 bucks. There's a few more games I'd like to get that are on sale with outrageous prices, which are Painkiller: Black Edition, Trine, Seirous Sam HD Gold Edition and the Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection, but I'm waiting for the last day with those so that I can exhaust my daily options. Would suck to buy a game and then find it on a special sale for less.

Waiting for better daily deals. Really bummed that I missed the Deus Ex Collection deal :/

Play BF2 BF1942 and you'll see why all true BF fans lament the direction the series is headed.

Just Bad Company 2 right now. I'm hoping Mass Effect 2 ends up becoming $5 because that's really the only game I want.

I've only bought the Civilization IV complete version so far.

Is Disciples 3 as bad as some of the reviews make it out to be? Looked intersting, been awhile since i've played that kind of game and I was considering picking it up...but should I just save my money instead?

i find it boring (my opinion only) , but you may download the demo and see for yourself. anyway, its just $7.50 on Steam so i think its a good deal.

So far I bought the F.E.A.R. Bundle and Super Meat Boy. Haven't gotten around to the FEAR pack yet, but Super Meat Boy is one of the most rewarding games I've played in a while.

And for people who are looking to buy something today, Burout Paradise is absolutely worth buying for $5. (if you have a gamepad). The Witcher also seems good too, I just haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
