What's the longest wow has been down? I've only ever really gotten a few free days tacked onto my subscription due to unplanned downtime over the course of 6 years.
I think it was almost 2 days - down for good -, as for certain features being unavailable (like the patch gone wrong in WotLK) about 5-6 days, you couldn't play dungeons, raids and pvp. What's the longest wow has been down? I wouldn't care I quit WoW last years after 6 years of play, and won't be going back. And I was talking to a real life friend that still plays and found out that 90% of my guild that I played with have quit because of lack of updates and when there is a update it is Vanilla content moved up to level 85. And now the guild is thinking of disbanding after 6 years of raiding.
As much as many wouldn't like to admit, WoW has passed it's prime. And when Guild Wars 2 and TOR come out I fear WoW will start it's huge decline.
Well, I'm sure Blizzard would compensate subscribers in one way or another. CCP did something similar to EVE Online when its servers went down for like a couple days. They merely rewarded players with free skill points that would have otherwised been earned during the down time. But if WoW was down for any period of extended time, then perhaps we'd be seeing the cavern dwellers walking out of their basements and into the real world with disbelief on their faces because they've forgotten what it was like to actually be outside!XIntoTheBlue
Open eyes of amazement: "you mean the real world doesn't look like Azeroth...?"
