a quad 2.3Ghz for $170 or a core 2 dou at 2.6 Ghz for $120 (for the quad i need to upgrade my mobo to)

whih ones specifically are we talking about? but most likely the quad.

for most games a higher clocked dual beats a slower clocked quad. of the dual works in your current mob get that.
