my favourite RPG for the PC is Oblivion. Kept me busy for some time. :DchrisrooR
Uhh... Oblivion is a great game, but not an MMORPG. Anyway, I think I hate MMORPG's now. My favorite one I'd have to say would be World of Warcraft, but I've gotten very bored with that now, and I've never made it past level 25. I actually liked Runescape for a while too... Though I am ashamed of that, I still play it from time to time. I used to play Maple Story alot, and it wasfunfor awhile, then it justbecame sorepetitive that it was torture, so Iquit.I'm currently trying out Lord of the Rings Online, I haven't really gotten into it yet, but hopefully I'll end up liking it.
You could fall in with the millions of other people and play WoW which is needless to say one of the best PC games of all time. I play it now and its great, but my favorite MMO of all time would have to be FFXI, its a great game, but most people hate it because its a bit more difficult than your norm MMORPG.
WoW-Super Fun, Huge world, Lots of people,
FFXI-Awesome story line, really in-depth game-play, people are alot more nice =]

i understand that Oblivion isn't an MMORPG, but it is alot better then every MMORPG on the current market.
EVE Online. Very open-ended, and much of the game world is completely player controlled.ProudLarry
Don't forget the 3 month learning curve... Lol.

Well, there is a steap learning curve, but its really not THAT bad. If anything its a good indicator to just how much there is to do in the game. You can be anything from a mercenary, to a miner, a bounty hunter, a pirate, or a manufacturer. The best thing for new players to do is to find a player corporation to join, and let them help you out.

Yeah, it seems interesting... But I'm the kind of person who doesn't have a whole lot of patience. I usually quit a game right away when they seem too complicated (which is probably WoW's fault because of its 2nd grader simplicity).
