I use the pc for sim racing. For single player, it is GTR 2 or GTR evolution. For online, it is Rfactor. If you dont know already, rfactor is online only. They do have a single player option, but it is horrible. The AI sucks. This game was not developed for single player. It was meant for online. There are tons and tons of free mods out there for any car style you can think of. But, be warned, the online community is very good, and they have little patience for bad drivers.Golden_Domer
All I've ever played in Rfactor is the offline component - the 79 series, in particular, is fantastic, although there are many great mods to choose from. Most of my races have come right down to the wire. Maybe for you the offline races are simple, but not everybody has the same skill level. For me it's just perfect.

The AI is different with every mod. some is faster, some is slower. Most of all, the ai is just so inconsistent from mod to mod
