It seems to me like some of you have perfect happy lives...You don't feel the need to escape....Maybe that's the most dramatic thing I've ever heard....so full of monotony your lives are(as Master Yoda would say)=))

Feeling the need to escape from life is never a good sign...D9-THC

not feeling the need to escape life at least once in a whilemeans you avoid challenge in life as a general rule or you set your sights so low that no one notices you. I seriously cannot think of a single scenario where some aspect of life should not annoy or stress the average person unless you are specifically avoiding anything that could annoy or stress you. Between exercise in the mornings and games some evenings I find that it is a good ballance to escape or vent most if not all of the frustrations I get in work and general life.

i just play games for fun, tho it isnt my life, and it seems like you might be taking it a little to seriously, maybe you should take a break and go outside, throw a base ball for the first time, or maybe you can try a bicycle, or maybe you can write a book, but i think you should take a break from it, you seem like you need one.

My highschool life is busy at the moment and it leaves very little free time, save for saturday and sunday afternoons. So during thr week I fill my recreation time with games and on the weekends, I meet up with friends with whom I have enough things to discuss about what happened over the week.

If my friends are busy or something, I end up turning to games to have fun since I find most movies nowadays boring and a waste of time (that can apply to games but I get to choose how the action unfolds, rather than sit and wait for it to happen).

TC, if you think of gaming as your world, then you need to reall try hard and find a balance between games and real life. I find it easier to deal with problems and anger if I confide in good friends rather than let it all out when gaming.
