Alpha Protocol a little but, honestly, I'm not looking forward to anything really. I think the cRPG genre is kind of dead and has been replaced by the console friendly action-rpg which is a genre I don't really care for.
This + Mass Effect 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Gothic 4 (I hope for the best :?) and maybe Dragon Age.Alpha Protocol

Alpha Protocol, Fallout: New Vegas, and King's Bounty: The Armoured Princess.
Everything else looks a bit mediocre - although I might be looking forward to Gothic 4 (or whatever the Gothic decs are currently making).
I want to say Alpha Protocol, but since the developers are following the stupid trend of, "aiming should depend on the player's skill, not the character's," I can't say I'm extremely excited. If that's the only bad RPG-aspect of the game, then I'll get over it but I'm worried about it being too dumbed-down. LongZhiZi
It's stupid only if they make it stupid. It worked well in Stalker, where it takes hours to master a weapon.
Divine Divinity 2: Ego Draconisdnuggs40Is it like titan quest? because i love titan quest i still play it.

Huh? Is there some mechanic in Stalker I don't know about?[QUOTE="dnuggs40"]Divine Divinity 2: Ego DraconisZillaschool

Um...kinda I guess. It's more like NWN2 (sans the focus on a group of controllable characters) I think though. Divine Divinity 1 was like a mix between Diablo and "real" RPG's. The action and leveling/skills/items work a lot like Diablo/TQ but the game world has a lot more RPG trimmings like open world questing, moral choices, a lot of dialog and NPCs, and stuff like that. Wonderful game, and I have very high hopes for the sequel.
Check out the thread I made about it for more info:

I also love TQ (as you can tell from my avatar) :D

It doesn't take just a few minutes to learn the ballistics, ammo types, upgrades, various range adjustments etc. That's why so many people complain the shooting sucks or don't use some guns "becase they're useless".
I guess that's also why Clear Sky almost forces you to use the pistols and shotguns in the Swamps.

You know I actually read that wrong...I interpreted what LongZhiZi said backwards

There's a difference between an RPG with shooting elements and a FPS with RPG elements. Clearly in an FPS, it should depend on player-skill. While I couldn't get in to STALKER, I can appreciate what they did with the gunplay.[QUOTE="Baranga"][QUOTE="LongZhiZi"]I want to say Alpha Protocol, but since the developers are following the stupid trend of, "aiming should depend on the player's skill, not the character's," I can't say I'm extremely excited. Never thought i'd see anyone who agrred with my sentiments!!!!
When ME2 and gothic 4 are coming?also do you think its worth to play gothic 3?I dont have any good rpg to play i just finished fable again.Zillaschool
Can't remember about ME 2 but I think it too will be released at the beginning of 2010 (at least that's when they should release Gothic 4, in January).
Gothic 3 is great, with the latest community patch and if you give it time to get used to it, it can be quite awesome :).
One thing tho, STAY AWAY from Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods (kind of like a standalone expansion for G3), it's unplayable, not even Crysis runs that bad on my PC.
Diablo III, Mass Effect 2, Fallout: New Vegas, Alpha Protocol, Two Worlds: Redemption, Marvel Ultimate Alliance Fusion, and the NWN 2 expansion that is supposed to come out.
Sadly cRPGs are almost dead, but little by little they are coming back, and soon they'll replace those consolised action false RPGs!
I'm dying to play:
Dragon age for me, Ive had my eyes on this game for quite a while, and I "generally" like what I see... so lets see if it will hit the spot ^^

I personally don't care about the action RPG, H&S mumbo jumbo it IS an RPG and no, there is no Witcher 2 but I do hope they'll make it :(.waiting for GuildWars 2 (hope they gives more info this year) and Blade and Soul....but I dont know if it is going to make to the U,S.
TES5, no I'm not a big RPG fan :Dclembo1990Any news on TES5? I like oblivion when it came but after playing some of the older game it seems shallow.
Lets see here;
Alpha Protocol (probably dumbed down but lets see what the general review concensus is)
Dragon Age (see above)
Diablo 3
Divine Divinity 2 (i thought I was the only one following this :P)
NWN 2 with no securom (I can dream can't I :()
Alpha Protocol

this
hand to hand combat in an RPG...awesome. Cant wait to do some Jason Bourne fights!
Dragon Age, well, its look good and traditional but im not getting hyped for it.
Diablo 3, Alpha Protocol. I don't care about Generic Age.
Baranga
How do you know it's generic if you haven't played it already?
Unless there are demos or betas out.
Um, alpha protocal and diablo 3 for me.

Because it looks generic.
So generic that the executive producer left BioWare for freakin' Disney.
