At the moment it is as dead as can be since Intel canned the whole Larrabee rubbish :-

"Intel purchased Offset Software to improve our game development knowledge-base and to further Intel's visual computing technology development expertise, helping the company offer robust products, support, and tools to customers. With the recent changes in our product roadmap, some of the resources and technologies from the acquisition are being re-applied to help support new graphics related projects. Additionally, other Offset Software team members have moved onto other external projects outside the company."some Intel dude

Yes, it is dead. The game that i 100% hyped through 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and my freshman year of college was cancelled because INTEL felt it was a good idea to stop production of the best game ever almost made. However, the Engine is being used in this game www.firefall.com It is a heavily modified version of the engine, but this is the closest i will ever have to playing it (and this game looks awesome anyways, and is a totally free to play MMO FPS that actually looks like it will work).

Sam McGrath who was one of the founders of Offset Software has made a new company called Fractiv LLC and they have a website up but it is totally blank right now. I don't know if any of the other original founders are a part of the new company. I just hope they continue their epic fantasy FPS design.

Seriously, this was going to be one of the greatest FPS games ever made and they were implementing so many great ideas, then Intel had to come and mess everything up.
