I use a Samsung LNa32550. 32 inch monitor max resolution @ 1920x1080. I have a 22 inch Dell/Samsung one too, but I upgraded when I decided to have the PC as my main living room entertainment. 32 in isn't huge, but I bought it on sale for $650 online and it does its job. I watch and play from about 7 feet away.

I switch between my laptop 13.3" screen and my Sony Bravia 40" 1080p screen. Two systems, one for the keyboard + mouse, the other for the home entertainment PC enthusiast and gaming with a gamepad (it's not comfortable to play PC games with keyboard and mouse on the couch compared to the desk). If anyone can help me solve my issue with keyboard + mouse gaming on an HDTV, I would greatly appreciate it. A good keyboard + mouse combo, wireless preferably (being 8 feet away from the TV and Media PC), and with good range that doesn't drop.

What are you having wrestling matches in between fits of rage with your monitor or something?dnuggs40

I've always been turned off by flat screen monitors, they look really flimsy :D

Personally I prefer black borders over a streched image (If I am understanding you properly...) For some reason I hate seeing a 4:3 game/tv show/movie stretched across a 16:9 or 16:10 screen.

I have a 22" HDMI widesceen monitor that cost me £90 ($150) and a freeview card in my PC, with a remote control. This means I can use my monitor as a computer screen or a TV screen. With the right HDMI cable, I could put a blue ray reader in my PC and watch High Def movies. But what I like most, is that widescreen monitors have better technology, for example, my monitor automaticall adjusts zoom, so whether I am playing a reto game at 640x480 or a modern game at 1280x1024, I get it full screen with no black border!

Two 24" Gateways (FHD2400 and FHD2401), one for desktop, the other as an external display for notebook. My previous monitor was a 19" Sony XBRITE 5:4, I wanted to go with a glossy display over matte again.
