I'm playing on a 19 inch widewsceen acer lcd monitor at a res of 1440x900. Honestly the games that support widesreen look beautiful. If the res isnt supported then it does look a bit blury and it doesn that same crisp look. I'd still stick with my lcd though, no more lugging my 19inch crt to lan parties!!
I use a 19" Samsung SyncMaster 940Fn. It's the first LCD monitor I've owned and I'm very pleased with how games look on it, and it's nice for general use too. I'm not a big fan of Samsung as a company though, so I imagine my next monitor will be of a different make. Â
My laptop has a 1920x1200 17" panel...digging into the properties indicates that it's made by LG, which is apparently better than the two other models used in the E1705.
Best part is that there's only a tiny bit of light bleeding, and only when you look at it from extreme angles to the right. Its size also means that the little LCD grid is barely visible. It's almost overkill.
17" CRT - Samsung SynMaster 753s @85Hz, not the biggest nor the best, but my Pc can't run most games +1024 resolution anyway so it doesn't bother me much.
