What kind of video card do I need to run COD4 on medium setting?

AMD64 x2 6000+

3GB Ram

21' monitor

What about high setting? Which video card you guys recommend?

hmmm by take would be an 8800 gt. they should be kinda cheap now, and you will prolly run it mid/high.

if not then an 8600 (any type) will likely run it in mid.

Both those cards are fairly cheap, and with the 8 series 2 generations out now they should be affordable.

Geforce 8800GS is a good budget choice which will run the game on high settings just fine. But if you can get a 9600GT,8800GT or better to play any game on high or max

Also, what do you guys think of my CPU? I've been out of the loop for lil bit. What's PCI 2.0? How do I know if my mobo supports it?

ive maxed cod4 with 20-50 fps on a 8600gt, 4x aa and shadows, etc. 8800gt will no doubt max it too.

I have the same Cpu and its great dont worry about it. Pci E 2.0 works with older motherboards dont worry.

COD4 is really, really easy on the video card compared to other current engines/shooters. IIRC it's based on a pretty old engine updated rather than something brand new.
