Heres my wishlist for my next computer I narrowed it down to just this, I plan on putting my 460 in this.

Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg

Here are the 2 motherboards I cannot decide over I was wondering what is the better buy?

Newegg.com - ASUS Rampage III Formula LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Newegg.com - MSI Big Bang-XPower LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Also I was wondering if the PSU I picked out is the best decision for this build.

You might want to consider waiting for Socket 1155 and P67 chipset motherboards for Sandy Bridge. That processor pretty much makes buying any other processor on the market look like a stupid decision.

I heard they are going to have embedded DRM that dosent fly with me, I dont pirate but I dont like that software, I seriously went through 2 crysis and mass effects because of it. I would rather buy an AMD.

That's a little harsh. They have literally released no information on what the hardware actually does besides the fact that it's there. Besides, it seems to me like it's more along the lines of HDCP, as in stopping pirates from ripping certain content.

The PSU you have picked out is more than enough for that system. I agree with Marfoo if you are building a PC now it would be crazy not to go sandy bridge. Regardless of the so called DRM.

OK so let me get this straight If I want to backup my movies such as Avatar on my hard drive, I wont be able to? because of DRM protection. I am insulted that they add this to their hardware. No im still not feeling it I need more information on the technology or I simply wont buy it.

The answer I got from Crytek EA when DRM thought my crysis was pirated (which I didnt) was buy another copy.

I guess it would depend on what controls the company would want to implement and what the system actually does. Currently there is nothing out that opts for the DRM protection. Future titles may utilize it but it's still unclear what it does.

The system in your wish list looks good. Both mobo's look good feature wise so it comes down to whichever one you like the most. The PSU has enough power for future upgrades as well.

I'd go for the Asus board. The MSI looks cool, but its price is sitting in the possibility to mix the use of AMD & NVidia cards. Still, the chip works rather poorly, so, if you want more...errr... bang for your buck, pick the Asus.

Wait? The new sandybridge hardware can prevent you from copying DVDs and CDs and the such?

There is generalized DRM hardware on the chip, it's unclear exactly what it can do, but my hunch is that it would stop you from ripping certain contain from certain media if the publisher opted in for the feature. So far no details have been revealed so as of now it does nothing.

If they do, I would never buy one. Im not ripping DVDs which I have spent money on to make copies of them to sell. I just want to watch a movie on my PC or iPod without having to buy it twice...

It seems that companies are realizing this, Intel is definitely realizing this. They implemented QuickSync into their processors just for transcoding video and it's the fasting thing out there. (they're playing both sides of the fence.) A lot DVD's support "digital copy" these days and that kind of thing. I think they would be stupid to rule out people who want to get their movie onto mobile devices. There will always be a way around DRM, always, so I wouldn't worry too much.

You should read the article for yourself! The DRM will not affect you playing your own movies which are downloaded.
