Wireless VX Revolution. 2.4 GHz, with 848nm performance laser and Microgear scroll wheel. Plus a comfy fit to my hand.

All this will run you about 45$ and i like it a lot so far

Yea, i was planning on getting either a Razer Deathadder, Lachesis or a Logitech G5 or g9, but here in Canada it either isn't available, rarely available, or so much more expensive then from the US. If I were to purchase from amazon or the company sites themselves then the shipping costs would be ridiculous, let alone the tax.

I just use a little 25 dollar wired Hewlet packard laser mouse. It always works really good for me except when I have to turn SUPER fast. I dont see the need to invest 40 to 60 bucks on a mouse.

Microsoft Sidewinder. I haven't tried a lot of mice, but so far it's the best; AMAZING scroll wheel, perfect comfortable-ness, and it just works great.

For precision, really. When I aim in Counter-Strike and i drag the crosshair across the screen I notice that it skips pixels. I tried to fix this by using different resolutions, sometimes it works but then i need to be quicker, and playing CSS on a lower resolution is never an option for me. I need a mouse that is quick and precise. These are the reasons I do invest in relatively expensive mice.

I had an MS optical trackball mouse for 7 years. It was great for most games (mostly shooters) and never gave me a problem until this weekend (a wire somewhere in the cord broke).

Over the weekend, I had to get a new mouse for the main PC. I picked up a Logitech LX-8 (cordless, laser pointer, 5 buttons + tilt scrollwheel). I liked it so much, I picked up a second one for my laptop.

Razer Deathadder,

Excellent mouse, fast, accurate, light and has plenty of settings for anyone.
