Know i can upgrade next year but yes it needs to last until April NEXT year id like it to Max at all games and games to come;
(ive heard cyris will be hard to max out) id also like to say id be maxing out on a 17" Moniter.

Option 1
Saphire x1950xt (165) + Q6600 ($286)

Option 2
8800 gts + E6750 or E6600

Yes April 2008 i could see a newer GPU card better or i could see the Q6600 cheaper.

Also can someone suggest me the best PSU for $99-115?

diffently option 2 because of the way better card and option 1 isn't bad but you really don't NEED a quad core beause dual's are still great and only a few games utilize quad cores and the first game to come out that you NEED a quad core to max out is alan wake which doesn't even have a release date as for a powersupply id go with this one its cheap,good,has modular cable'sand has free shipping

Option 2 is my choice too, 8800GTS is way better than X1950XT and has DX10 and Sharder model 4.0 advantage

Definitely the second option, because games will benefit much more from a 8800-class graphics card than a quad-core CPU. You can always upgrade to a quad later on, when they bring out the 45nm Yorkfield line. (So, why am I going quad for my soon-to-be-mine gaming PC? I just have a mere Athlon XP 1800+ in this old box that I'm composing this post on, so it's not like I can just plop a Core 2 into the CPU socket. And, besides, I have the extra cash to spare, and I want the better multitasking capability.)
