What performance do you get in stalker?

Right now on the system I built yesterday, I am getting over 60 FPS outside, sometimes even into 80 and over. Inside areas with heavy shadows it can drop to 30fps. This is maximum possible settings, full AA and AF, 1280x720 resolution.

Just trying to get an idea of how my system is running and if it is running as well as it should be.

Specs are:

E6850

8800GTX

2GB 1066MHz RAM

I haven't tried it on my new system.

On an AMD64 3200+, 1gb ddr400 RAM, and a 256mb 6800 GT, the game was completely unplayable. I think it was poorly optimized. The graphics don't even look good but they run like total crap. The graphics remind me of the original HL :P

ugh it should be performing WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY better than that lol

If you look at my sig at the new computer (its not new anymore but hey, whatev)...it plays like butthole. I mean seriously, it is unplayable at 1280x1024 and not very at 1024x768 or whatever the lower rez is (granted I am playing this on medium high). This is the most poorly optimized game I have ever seen. It needs raw power, no finess.

That is with 2GB RAM, x1900GT OC, and x2 3600+ OC

stalker is the most patheticly optimized game i have ever seen. even though i get great fps playing it, that dosent change anything.

i was running a e6700 oc'ed to 3.2ghz,8800GTX, 680i board, and 1gb of ram and i was getting above 100 fps, but there would always be strange spikes that sent me down to below 20. i got a second gig of ram and it never goes below 70.
